Hello and thank you for joining our amazing team of AVON Golden Stars located in the Akron, Ohio area. We have representatives throughout Northeast Ohio and a few across the states. We are a part of the Starfire Division. As of October, 2013, our team has 75+ members, and we are growing! We are comprised of hard-working women and men that love selling and sharing the AVON opportunity.
Let me share my personal AVON story with you. My name is Krista Burns, and I am the Unit Leader of Krista Burns' Avon Team Golden Stars. I am hoping to achieve Advanced Unit Leader by mid November of 2013.
I started selling AVON almost four years ago by the recommendation of a friend. For my first year, I treated it primarily as a hobby, and to get a discount on great makeup! I never really thought I could make money with it. I primarily sold to my family and friends, and I always gave them some sort of discount, so it wasn't like I was rolling in the money.
But after my son was born, my husband and I decided that I was going to be a stay-at-home mom. That was great! But, there's still bills that need paid!! So, I started looking at AVON in a whole new light, and that's when the doors really started opening for me. I started treating my hobby like a business, and wow, did it take off. I made PC that year, selling over $10,100. Then, my District Manager talked to me about Leadership. I was accepted into the Training Leader program (no longer available) and worked my business like never before! I got out there and started TALKING to people about AVON EVERY DAY! I successfully completed the program and have continued to watch my business grow. I went from using AVON to get a discount on makeup to having my AVON business make our monthly HOUSE PAYMENT. That's huge!!!!
I began to realize that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE with my business. I am earning a paycheck twice a month from my leadership PLUS the income I bring in from my personal sales. I am able to stay at home with my two children and run my own business. Some days can be a little frazzled, but where else can I work my OWN schedule and take a day off if the kids are sick - no questions asked?
I love teaching women how they can earn their own paycheck from home by working an AVON business. I plan on growing my business and being even more successful in the coming years, and I hope you join me! Together we can achieve our dreams. I am so excited to have you be a part of our AVON team!
